Aleksandra Melaniuk is a Britten-Pears Young Artist and a Salonen Conducting Fellow in the Negaunee Conducting Program at Colburn and the San Francisco Symphony. Before assuming these roles, she was the youngest semi-finalist of the 17th Donatella Flick Conducting Competition, where she conducted London Symphony Orchestra. 

Recent highlights include a debut with San Francisco Symphony's SoundBox series, along with
serving as an associate conductor for Verdi's La Traviata in Opera Holland Park. This season, as a cover conductor, she is working with the Orchestre de Paris, Los Angeles Philharmonic, San Francisco Symphony (with Esa-Pekka Salonen), Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, and Orquesta Nacional de España (with Simone Young).
